Ecologically - sustainable Farm
From the end of summer through to late autumn we have typical biological pumpkins of Mantua available, perfect for tortelloni-pasta, savoury pies and many other delicious dishes.
Kiwi, walnuts, plums, apples, pears, cherries, mulberries and many others are the biologically grown fruits allowing us to prepare the jams and pastries for your breakfast, while Mint, Marjoram, Lavender, Thyme, Red Basil, Common Tansy, Calendula, Sage, Rosemary, Lemon balm are some of the several fresh herbs that you will find at our farm.
Capons and Guinea-fowls spend their entire life, since the first day, in the farm, and they are reared following an absolute criterion of rusticity and hygiene.
Each one of them has a 10 sqm free-range area to scratch about totally free and safe.
THE EDUCATIONAL FARM
Theoretical – practical courses to learn, while having fun, to know the plants and fresh herbs and to respect nature.
In the period going from spring to autumn, we organize thematic courses at our structure, for private citizens, public or private companies willing to sensitize their users or customers towards nature.
Workshops on the production of recycled paper, on the transformation of officinal herbs, on the creation of little gardens or musical instruments, these are just some of the activities successfully carried out in the past.
